Disney's BoardWalk Resort: New Live Music and Karaoke

Live band, professional backup singers, costumes and props — it's all here — get ready to play, sing and dance at Tom Casey's Let's Get Rockin!
Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney's BoardWalk Resort is hosting a new live interactive band experience that lets you step into the spotlight and sing and play the night away. Choose from vocals, guitar, bass, drums or keyboard, and jam with the band or your best friends every Thursday night from 9 p.m.-1:30 a.m.

"Instead of a regular band that just stands there and plays, we interact with the audience," said bandleader Tom Casey, who is also a musician at Scat Cat's Club at Disney's Port Orleans Resort. "We'll walk up to your table. The whole room is going to be participating."

There are more than 400 songs to choose from, including karaoke classics like Joan Jett's "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," Disney favorites such as "Let It Go" and Top-40 hits like OneRepublic's "Counting Stars." Check if your favorite song is on the list by visiting www.LGRband.com.

Audience members like Katie Schaefer chose to play an instrument and left the singing to the professionals. Katie rocked a performance of Tommy Tutone's "867-5309 (Jenny)." "It was my first time playing drums on a stage, and it was awesome!" she said.

Tom Casey's Let's Get Rockin! live interactive band experience will run through May 15, 2014. Admission into Atlantic Dance Hall is $5.00 for each Guest. Disney Vacation Club Members receive complimentary admission for themselves and up to three Guests. Atlantic Dance Hall admission is also free for Disney Cast Members.
