Disney Vacation Club News: New Smart TV App, Newsletter

Disney Vacation Club is introducing some new features that will interest both members (a completely new newsletter) and non-members (a new Smart TV app). First of all, in partnership with Digital Marketing, Disney Vacation Club is participating in the test launch of Disney’s first Smart TV app that enables Guests to explore Disney vacations through their smart TVs. The app is available now through March 31, 2014 on AT&T U-verse and is also scheduled to be launched soon on Samsung and LG platforms.

This new Smart TV app features the full portfolio of Disney Destinations (Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Aulani and Disney Vacation Club) and provides a variety of content including video galleries, photo galleries, park maps, and trivia.

In addition to that, a newsletter is now starting to be sent to Disney Vacation Club members. The first edition of "Member Insider" was sent yesterday (Wednesday, March 26, 2014). The new monthly email features Disney Vacation Club news, tips on how to maximize Membership, and special offers. Disney Vacation Club Members will also see account information, current points available and next bank date.

Member Insider email will allow customization making it more relevant for better user experience and will also consolidate communications to be more concise and relevant, providing Disney Vacation Club Members the information they need most.
