New Re-Entry & Rider Switch Passes Coming to WDW

Starting from this Saturday (February 1, 2014), Attraction Re-Entry Passes and Rider Switch Passes at the Walt Disney World Resort will have a new look that is consistent with MyMagic+.

These passes are consistent with their attraction’s designated collection (as you know, with FastPass+, certain attractions belong to different tiers). New passes will be valid for the entire month. Here you are a few of them:

The Rider Switch Passes will look the same in all four theme parks:

  1. I am sure this is a stupid question but what is a 're-entry' pass?

  2. I'm also wondering what the context of these passes are.

  3. The Re-entry passes are given out to Guests that were evacuated from a ride or a queue line due to an attraction's downtime. Rider Switch passes are given to parents who have kids too small to ride a certain attraction, so that both parent can ride separately without leaving their kid alone.

  4. In the official Disney page it states that the one that does the switch can bring One guest, but all the passes I see printed, have 3 guests as it used to be. Can you confirm if this have changed?
