Magic Kingdom Park Refurbishments (January 2014)

Now that the busy season is almost over, it is time for the Magic Kingdom Park to embark on a number of refurbishments around most of the themed lands. In addition to a few downtimes, there will also be instances of work taking place on facades and other facilities while venues remain open. Also, some areas will receive some quite major changes...

• Tomorrowland Speedway (Jan. 6-12)
• Casey’s Corner (Jan. 6-Feb. 15). Hot dogs can still be found at Friar’s Nook and The Lunching Pad.
• Splash Mountain (Jan. 6-March 21)
• Agrabah Bazaar (Jan. 7-Feb. 13). Aladdin and Jasmine will be greeting Guests from the Adventureland Veranda porch while the Bazaar is closed.
• Magic Carpets of Aladdin (Jan. 13-16)
• Liberty Square Riverboat (Jan. 21-30)

- Additional Refurbishments (NO CLOSURES)-

• Plaza Restaurant planter modifications (Jan. 5-Feb. 28)
• Liberty Square river walk expansion, near the Riverboat landing (Jan. 6-Feb. 14)
• Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café outdoor patio enclosure (Jan. 6-Feb. 10)
• City Hall curb modifications (Jan. 6-March 7)
• Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room façade refurbishment (Jan. 6-May 30)
• Main Street Confectionery façade refurbishment (Jan. 13-April 11)
