Magic Kingdom: FastPass+ Test Flyer (January 2014)
Today (Tuesday, January 14, 2014) was the very first time the Magic Kingdom Park started to use exclusively the new FastPass+ service (all the legacy FASTPASS machines are turned off). The very first reports seem to be very positive, even though it is still a little too early to effectively judge the outcome of this "test" (it is more like a roll-out than a test). As Guests enter the Magic Kingdom parking lot, the following flyer (which serves as a quick preview of the new FastPass+ service) is given to them:

As you can see, the Magic Kingdom Park really has a lot of attractions to choose from. We definitely think that Guests should have to be able to choose at least four attractions from that list (we are strictly talking about the Magic Kingdom Park. The other three parks do not have such an elevated number of attractions). What's your opinion?
No Splash Mountaint?
ReplyDeleteNevermind. It is closed right now, duh.
ReplyDeleteIs there a reason Space Mountain doesn't list its height requirement?
ReplyDeleteNo mention of the attraction tiers... Have they thankfully been scrapped?
ReplyDeleteI don't like the limit of three, given you could be in the park over 12 hours. Also the tiering of attractions is extremely frustrating, as I found out last month. Fast pass for Toy Story Mania used at 10am then not able to get a FP for Rock n Roller Coaster despite being in the park until closing as it is in the same tier. With queues of at least 70mins all day and two young children to entertain this meant that I missed out on one of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteTo jonty, did you tell Guest Relations about your frustration?
ReplyDeleteI have to say that the past pass system saves you a lot of time in my opinion. Which they had it already for a few years ago... last christmas you could even buy it at the hotel
