FastPass+ Test Involving WDW Annual Passholders


As part of the test-and -adjust process for MyMagic+ , testing will take place during the next few weeks with a small number of randomly selected Annual passholders. Guests involved in this test will be able to engage in My Disney Experience, make FastPass+ selections in advance and customize their MagicBands. When testers receive their MagicBands, they will also receive a black or gold (includes complimentary parking) Annual Passholder discount card. Guests can use these cards or their Passholder admission ticket to obtain discounts.

Who can take part in this test?
Participants must be passholders who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel .

What components of MyMagic + These Guests will test?
On the day they are selected to participate on, testers will be able to make FastPass+ selections using the My Disney Experience app or a FastPass + kiosk . The following day, testers will be able to order and customize MagicBands in My Disney Experience. Once they receive their MagicBands , they will be able to use them to enter the park on their next visit, as well as select and redeem FastPass+ entitlements. These testers are not eligible to use touch to pay at this time.

If I participate on in this test, will I be able to take advantage of MyMagic+ if I return to the Walt Disney World Resort?
Yes, all Guests who participated in a MyMagic+ test on or after August 2 , 2013, have the ability to link park admission , make selections using FastPass+, touch to enter the parks and touch to redeem FastPass+ selections with an existing MagicBand (if one was included as part of the test), regardless of whether the Guest stayed at Walt Disney World Resort hotel. If Guests participated in a MyMagic+ test prior to August 2 , 2013, of all the above is true, except they are not eligible to make FastPass+ selections.

If I forget to bring or lose my Annual Pass discount card, can I request a new one ?
If you misplace your discount card, you can continue to present your Annual Pass admission ticket and a photo ID to obtain discounts. If you no longer have your Annual Pass admission media, visit any Guest Relations location to obtain a replacement. Discount cards can not be replaced.

My Annual Pass includes complimentary parking . Do I need to show my discount card car at the plazas of the theme parks?
Auto plazas use touch-to-identify devices to admit to Guests theme park parking lots. Passholders should have a photo ID ready to present as well (some passes do not include complimentary parking). If MagicBands and Passes are not readily available, passholders can present their gold discount card and a photo ID. The black discount card is not valid for complimentary parking.

How many FastPass + selections can I make as an Annual Passholder?
During our test-and -adjust phase, the following guidelines are in place :
  • All Walt Disney World Guests can make three selections each day for FastPass+ one park.
  • Passholders not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can hold up to seven days of FastPass+ selections during a rolling 60-day window.
  • Passholders staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can hold FastPass+ selections for up to seven days or the length of their Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay, whichever is greater.
I'm an Annual Passholder. When will I be Able to customize and make MagicBands FastPass + selections in advance?
