Lowland Gorilla Baby Stillborn at Busch Gardens Tampa

A sad news is coming from Busch Gardens Tampa. The park released the following statement today: "Busch Gardens regrets to announce that the western lowland gorilla baby the park was expecting was stillborn yesterday, Jan. 5, 2014 due to unknown causes. Zoo veterinarians and staff are still investigating the situation. The mother Pele has no apparent signs of complications, but is still under close observation by the veterinary and animal care teams at Busch Gardens."
