Disney Mobile Magic App to Be Retired on Dec. 23, 2013
Please, make sure to note that the Disney Mobile Magic app is no longer available for download in the iTunes App Store or Android Market and will discontinue service on December 23, 2013 to all mobile devices that already have it installed. The app was developed under a contract with Verizon, which ended earlier this year. Until service is discontinued, this app may display incorrect information for Guests. Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort are encouraged to use the free My Disney Experience mobile app.
The mobile magic app was far superior to the My Disney Experience app. It was much easier to navigate and in general worked better on the phone. My Disney Experience takes too long to load and operates counter-intuitively. If you look AT&T is now the official wireless provider.
ReplyDeleteThe annoying thing is it is currently the only official app that works for Disneyland's wait times. Very useful when trying to decide to switch parks or see if your attraction is down before making a long walk. Hopefully they'll come out with a new official app in the next few weeks.
