Animal Kingdom: FastPass+ Test Involving ALL Guests
As part of the test-and-adjust process for MyMagic+, a test of Disney FastPass+ service will take place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom starting from December 18, 2013. This test will allow ALL Guests (including those not staying at one of the Disney resorts) visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom the ability to make three FastPass+ selections for the current day at that theme park using FastPass+ kiosks. Disney’s FASTPASS Service (using paper FASTPASS tickets) will not be available throughout the duration of this test at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Any Guest visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom during the test will have the option to participate in the FastPass+ test. They will be able to make up to three FastPass+ selections (per theme park ticket) at FastPass+ kiosks located throughout the parks. Guests will be able to choose up to three experiences from the following list:
- Character Greeting at Adventurers Outpost
- DINOSAUR
- Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain®
- Festival of the Lion King
- Finding Nemo – The Musical
- Kali River Rapids
- Kilimanjaro Safaris®
- Primeval Whirl®
- It’s Tough to be a Bug!®
FastPass+ kiosks (or Cast Members with mobile devices) will be available at the following locations:
- Kali River Rapids®
- Primeval Whirl®
- Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain®
- Outside of Disney Outfitters
- Outside of the service center located at Creature Comforts
Guests will receive information about the test at the auto plaza, which will also be available throughout the park.
So, if you have not had the chance to personally try out this updated service, this is your chance!
Will the Fastpass+ selections for non-Disney resort guests only be able to be made the day of visiting the park, while Disney-resort guests will be able to ahead of time?
ReplyDeleteYes Ryan, that is correct. Only hotel Guests will be able to make their FastPass+ selections BEFORE visiting the park. All the other Guests will have to select their choices while in the park.
