Universal Orlando: New Garage Structure Project

The Universal Orlando Resort recently announced to its Team Members that work on the construction of a brand-new multi-level garage structure will begin soon behind Universal Studios Florida. Take a look:

"On Friday, November 22, construction will begin on the new, four-level Team Member parking structure in our main Team Member Parking lot, and a large portion of parking in the lot will be closed off to prepare the structure’s foundation."

So, how is this news relevant to theme park news and rumors? Well, it is obvious that the Universal Orlando Resort is getting ready for massive crowds (especially starting from next year), and is therefore trying to make way for bigger and better facilities also for its Team Members. This is just another way Universal is showing that there is a lot more coming soon. Also, they may also look into expanding into the some parts of the Team Members' parking lot in the future (adding more levels to this new park structure, of course). Stay tuned.
