Mickey's Backyard BBQ Changes (November 2013)

Some of our Readers may not be aware of this, but Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground offers a special all-you-can-eat dinner a few times a week known as Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Just a few days ago, the starting time of this special offering changed. Here you are additional information regarding this adjustment:

"Effective November 7, 2013, Mickey's Backyard BBQ transitioned to a new start time of 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and Saturday evenings. This all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner and entertainment experience is held on select nights in an open-air pavilion at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Guests driving to Mickey's Backyard BBQ should park in the main parking lot at the front of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and take the internal bus system to Settlement Depot, allowing extra time for travel to the location. Guests traveling from Magic Kingdom Park may take watercraft to the marina at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, located just a short walk from the pavilion for Mickey's Backyard BBQ."
