Universal Studios Update: A Quiet Day (PART 1)
The slow season is slowly disappearing here in Central Florida, but there are still some nice days when there are not a lot of other Guests around in the many theme parks in the area. Yesterday was a great day to visit the Universal Orlando Resort. We are glad we did! Here you are a summary of what we saw yesterday (with photos):
Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem only has a 10-minute wait. This is a first!:
Yes, it was a great day:
The Monsters Cafe was closed:
A look around the Transformers area:
This part of the road was recently resurfaced:
You can clearly see the difference:
Transformers: The Ride - 3D had the longest wait time of both parks. The sign said 60 minutes, but we don't believe that:
Nope, it couldn't be 60 minutes long, unless there were 1,000 Guests with Express passes...
Moving on:
The New York section of the park looks great:
Work is being done on the facade of Finnegan's:
Some tables were being set up for a special event. Both parks were hosting an extra-hour party:
There was even a Blues Brothers statue!:
Find the differences between the next two photos (one of them is quite noticeable!):
Heading to London:
The reason transformers had a queue that long without it being outside was because one of the ride's elevators was down do it was running at 50% capacity.
