Discovering Florida: Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo (PART 2)
Welcome to PART 2 of this Lowry Park Zoo photo-gallery (PART 1 can be found HERE).
Let's check out the queue line of Expedition Africa, which is nicely themed in some parts:
There's even a small animal exhibit in the queue area
Here's the vehicle we are going to board:
The safari has officially started:
The first exhibit includes monkeys (behind a fence, unfortunately:
The second area of the safari includes farm animals. It seemed like a mix between Animal Kingdom's Affection Section and the Kilimanjaro Safaris (only without the cool-looking trucks used at Disney):
Still, it was nice seeing so many different species of "farm" animals (some were wild animals):
Where did I see this guy? Oh yes, along the Rivers of America at the Magic Kingdom Park!:
Bambi?:
Not Bambi. For sure:
There seemed to be too many birds like this guy in the park. He's the zoo's Waldo:
A friend:
An okapi:
It was very difficult to see him. They are shy animals by nature:
We are finally getting to an area holding bigger animals!:
