No. 9: One of the animal carvings on the Tree of Life is of David Greybeard, the first chimpanzee to approach primatologist Jane Goodall when she was in Gombe, Tanzania. It was placed there as a sign of appreciation for her support and guidance during the development of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
