Did You Know That? - Walt Disney World Edition (1)
The Orlando Theme Park News Team is happy to announce that a new special Walt Disney World column will be posted each day of the week starting today (Monday, August 19, 2013), for a total of 40 days. It will include some very interesting, little-known facts about the Walt Disney World Resort. Here you are the very first edition:

No. 1: There are 180 Walt Disney World seamstresses, and they have more than 1,000 fabrics, 75 shades of thread and more than 800 styles of buttons at their creative disposal. These materials combine to create and maintain the 15,000 entertainment costumes and 15,000 operational garment pieces worn by Cast Members. To see these talented artisans at work, take a peek inside the costuming workshop on the Studio Backlot Tour at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Can you identify the attraction, shop, or restaurant in which each costume is worn?

ReplyDeletethis is an excellent addition to what is already the best theme park site on the web!
keep this up indefinitely - 40 days isn't nearly enough!
I do wonder if they plan on removing the studio tour in the future will theses stay or moved off site?
