DTD: Saratoga Springs Resort Sidewalk Closes July 8

Please, take note of the following project that will affect Downtown Disney in the next few days:

Beginning July 8, 2013, the marsh area between Downtown Disney Marketplace and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will be excavated to expand Village Lake as part of the Disney Springs expansion project.

To prepare for the work, the east sidewalk between Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Downtown Disney Marketplace will close July 8, 2013. A new sidewalk connecting the properties will reopen upon completion of this work. Additionally, a pedestrian bridge will cross the lake (opening summer 2014).

Until then, Guests heading to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa from the Downtown Disney Area will still be able to use the following:

• Walt Disney World Bus;
• Disney Vacation Club Ferry (Boat Transportation);
• Sidewalk connecting Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa with Downtown Disney West Side.
