WDW: Some Side Notes on the Complimentary Wi-Fi

As most of our Readers well know, the Walt Disney World Resort just recently introduced a free Wi-Fi service inside all four theme parks, the two water parks, and the Downtown Disney area. That being said, there are some specific information on this subject that you might want to know. Here you are just a few important notes:

Wi-Fi is available in many areas throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. There are many areas that are in the scope of the complimentary Wi-Fi In the following places, the Wi-Fi service should be available:

• Public access walkways;
• Attraction queues (entrance through merge);
• Restaurants (table and quick service);
• Merchandise locations;
• Nighttime Spectacular viewing locations (such as Fantasmic!);
• Bus and monorail platforms.

On the other side, the Wi-Fi service is not currently available in the following areas of the parks:

• Backstage areas;
• Attractions (load through exit);
• Select shows;
• Animal exhibits;
• Restrooms.

Please, note also that Wi-Fi is not available at Walt Disney World Miniature Golf locations or while on Walt Disney World transportation. Work continues to address specific locations throughout the park with low signal.
