Magic Kingdom General Update - April 18 (PART 1)
A warm welcome to all our loyal Readers! Today we will be taking you along with us inside the Magic Kingdom Park once again to take a look at what's happening inside this wonderful place. Let's start right away:
First of all, work continue to be done on the facade of the Columbia Harbor House (Liberty Square):
Minor work is also being done on one side of the building housing the Hall of Presidents:
The facade of the Sleepy Hollow's Refreshments quick service location is still behind tarps:
The reproduction of the Liberty Bell is currently being refurbished:
While in Liberty Square, we noticed these new souvenir popcorn containers:
Has anyone ever seen them before? In all our hundreds of visits to the park, we never noticed them:
Moving on to Frontierland:
Some work is being done on the stairs leading to the Splash Mountain bridge:
By the way, the Splash Mountain bridge is still receiving some work:
It really looks great!:
Moving over to Adventureland, the future headquarter for the new Pirates of The Caribbean-inspired interactive game seems to be almost ready to open. Signs for this new experience are already up:
We are not sure, but it looks like there will be a FASTPASS+ for this as well...
The former Crow's Nest:
Going near the Pirates of the Caribbean restrooms, we found this:
There's a beautifully-themed room hidden by these curtains:
A sneak-peek of the room:
More game-related stuff around the area:
The popcorn buckets popped up at Disneyland in the last week or two as well.
ReplyDeleteThe buckets were being sold in Storybook for a couple months now. Looks like they are expanding locations. I worked at the Emporium up until a week ago. We found them from time to time laying on shelves/ sitting on the floor. lol
ReplyDeleteTHE DUMBO POPCORN CONTAINER IS SOOO CUTE! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BUYING ONE WHEN I GO TOMORROW! :D
