  1. When are these 3 areas scheduled to open? I'm going the beginning of June and it would be nice to have it all open.

  2. Melissa: Disney has not yet announced exact opening dates for any of these areas. As you can see from the photos, they appear to be almost done with the restrooms, so that could be within the next few weeks. I believe the Princess Meet and Greet will open in the summer. The Mine Train will not open until sometime in 2014.

That said, I love Disney theming, but I am disappointed with them that they are not trying to pick up the pace of construction on the Mine Train. Also, the new restroom area could have easily have fit a meet and greet.

  3. I know the becoming-all-too-common (sadly) norm is to criticize this area as "just restrooms" but I couldn't disagree more.

When you factor in the new pathway to alleviate congestion, the landscaping, the water features, the lighting, the seating, the charging stations, the overall "atmosphere", and yes, the bathrooms it's a fantastic addition to the park. I know, they could have built a dark ride and just given us bathrooms like the ones over by Space Mountain.

Personally, I was disappointed this section wasn't open in January during our last visit, but I can't wait to experience it in person our next trip.

  4. I agree, why couldn't a dark ride go there, if this was Disneyland they would put a ride where ever they could squeeze one in!
