Quick Universal's CityWalk Update: January 14, 2013
The Orlando Theme Park News Team returned from a brief Universal Orlando Resort visit just a few hours ago, and therefore there are many photos that have to be posted. This evening we will share some of the news and changes that area taking place around Universal Orlando's CityWalk. Let's take a look around together:
First of all, we wanted to post some photos of a very busy CityWalk (taken on December 30, 2012), just for fun:
As we reported a few weeks ago, the screen above the Coca-Cola Refreshment Center is now working again:
The main sign of the Nascar Sports Grille is still in dire need of a refurbishment:
It really looks terrible. it has been like this for more than a year now:
Also, the Nascar race-car that was outside the restaurant is still missing (as of today, January 14, 2013):
A lonely cloud was floating above the Sharp Aquos Theater, home to the popular Blue Man Group show:

It is no longer the Sharp Aquos Theater. All the Sharp signs have been gone for a while. It just a theater with no name.

ReplyDeleteRumor has it that Wicked will be replacing the blue man group. Orlando should really look into bringing more broadway musicals to downtown disney and citywalk
