Universal's CityWalk Update: Blue Man, P!Q, & More
Here we are, going back to the Universal Orlando Resort, where a lot of things are going on, all at once. This time we will take another quick look around Universal's CityWalk, in search for news to report. Let's start:
Firstly, a new P!Q sign has been installed on the side of the AMC Theaters, along with all the other billboards:
Work on the big robot of the Hollywood Drive-In Golf continues:
What do I see there?
The Blue Man Group Theater has finally received its new paint job:
A closer look:
It looks nice, but a little too empty:
The Box Office has been redesigned as well:
Notice that even the sign for the window accessible by Guests with disability has been themed:
The rest of the building looks the same:
The small Blue Man Group store is still closed and has not yet been repainted:
Newly redesigned signs along the pathway leading to the Sharp-Aquos Theater:
Nearby, some guys were tying a branch of a tree to the light pole... Yeah, this may sounds a bit random, but it is related to something happening nearby:
That branch may have been in the way:
In fact, in the meantime, there was some filming taking place around that same area:
You may soon see this lady on TV!:
...aaaaand, ACTION!:
A look at the filming crew from the other side:
All of a sudden, it was... evening:
This looked like a sign advertising a recurring special event. Never heard of it before:
A new projection is now visible on the side of the bridge connecting the Club area to the AMC Theaters:
Thanks for taking the time to read through this update. Remember that your comments are always welcome!

ReplyDeleteUniversal's "STARS Performance Program" is a service run in-house by Universal. Essentially, it is when school groups of bands, choruses, orchestras, dance groups, etc. come to UOR to perform at one of many venues. It serves as a benefit to Uni because they are getting entertainment for guests that the school groups pay for, as it is a field trip for them. The school group gets to show off their talents and as a treat get park tickets.
