Lo-Q Express System Officially Introduced at USF
You may remember from some of our latest Islands of Adventure updates that Universal was testing another kind of ride reservation system, known as Lo-Q. It basically includes having a small, round device where Guests enter the desired ride time for maximum one ride at a time, and then come back to the attraction at the appointed time (it is very similar to Disney's FASTPASS system, minus the paper tickets). Now, after having successfully tested the system at Universal Islands of Adventure, it has been decided to officially add this system to all the rides of Universal Studios Florida (with the exception of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit). Ride Reservation System Debuts at Universal Studios Florida
The Universal Ride Reservation System provides guests with an interactive pager to make reservations, one at a time, for Express-accessible attractions throughout their day. After a successful pilot at Islands of Adventure and based on positive guest feedback, we have now introduced the program to all participating Express Attractions* in Universal Studios Florida! Guests may learn more about the program for Universal Studios Florida at its distribution center, located next to Universal Studios Florida Rentals near the park’s exit.
*Note: Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is not a participating Express attraction

Please, note that this new system does NOT replace the already existing Universal's Express reservation system. it will just complement it, and offer a cheaper alternative to Guests that do not wish to pay for the Express system (which has an higher cost due to the fact that Guests can choose to ride any ride at any time).
