Epcot Update: A Quick Look Around the Park
Hello, and welcome to our new, brief Epcot photo-report. We will take a look at both Future World and World Showcase to see what has changed and what has not. We certainly hope you will enjoy the photos (NOTE: The following photos were taken a few days ago, so some of the rehab projects may look different as of today):
Concrete work is currently being done in front of the Electric Umbrella:
The Epcot Character Spot is still closed for refurbishment:
A look at the temporary Epcot Character Sport (which looks almost nicer than the original permanent one!):
Huge extended queue:
Inside the room:
We love the background!:
INNOVENTIONS:
Inside Innoventions West, walls are still up in the former Rockin' Robots exhibit:
Work also continue on the new IBM exhibit:
Sadly, the former "Run Time" exhibit has now been replaced by... a black and uninspiring wall. Hopefully it will at the very least receive some kind of drawings:
The Seas:
Work on the new Next-Gen entrance is almost done. They just need to take the walls down:
Work on Test Track continues:
Minor work happening in the small pond next to the Imagination! pavilion:
The Food & Wine Festival is now over (it ended yesterday):
Work on the roofs of some of the building in Norway seems to be complete:
In Italy, the "PIZZERIA" sign on Via Napoli was having some issues:
Maybe they were trying to represent the leaning tower of Pisa...
New gazebo in France:
Details are always good:
Here Guests can now meet Aurora:
In the back of the pavilion:
Work inside Souvenirs de France (and the new Patisserie):
And that is all. Thank you so much for reading, and see you soon with more updates and news. Stay tuned!
does test track will have a few track course like the one in the entrance with 60 mph?
ReplyDeleteFrom what I could decipher from that comment; yes the 65 mph portion will remain in place.
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering the same thing, will the actual test track ride change, or are the only changes going to be to the post ride car design stuff(which I'm not interested in at all). The promotional artwork they've shown made the ride itself look like it was full of glowing neon lights and lasers, like something out of tron. What does otpn think will change with the ride?
ReplyDeleteThe ride itself will not change.
ReplyDeleteEvery aspect of the ride will remain the same. Even the cold and hot room.
But the scenery will be if you are in a computer.
The fact that the outside part would not fit a bit doesn't seem to be a problem in this re imaginering thing.
The pre and post show change the most and will be even more brand in your face like then it was befor. I hope I can skip it.
So the new chimney in Norway blends in really nicely. (I'm sure it'll be some sort of interactive element.) But does anyone else feel like the new roofing job looks kind of...plastic...?
