Hello, and welcome to part 10 of this New Fantasyland photo-gallery. We will now board the "clamobile" and take a photo-tour of the entire ride. Sounds great, doesn't it?

NOTE: Flash photography is usually never allowed inside indoor rides (like this one). The only exception would be during dress rehearsals, as numerous media members visit the area and take photos of the interior and of the show scenes. Disney made no indication whatsoever that flash photography was not allowed inside during this time, so don't worry if you see a few photos taken with the flash:

We'll post a written review on this gorgeous ride in the next few days:

  1. Using flash inside a ride is uncool.

  2. The ride is in previews, and there was no indication that flash should not be used in the ride. It was the first day it was open, and all the other guests where doing the same. Not a big deal at all. We hope you enjoyed the pictures, though!

  3. I love the pictures!
And yes I was there yesterday and even asked a cast member. They said since New Fantasyland hadn't opened yet, it was technically ok! Since they assumed lots of reporters and bloggers would be there.
Let them get it out of their system. :P

  4. Thanks for the huge update!

But yeah, flash photography inside a ride is a big no no. It ruins the experience for everyone. Especially in an omnimover ride. Plus, the pictures look awful as they don't capture the original ligthing.

  5. The fash takes a lot of mood away.
It makes the seen more ugly than in real life. It's also sad for the peeps who got this as a realy nice surprise comming from out of the US and it gets spoiled by Disney and the attitude of the guesst using flash. I don't want to attack you and I love the update but it just isn't necessary.

I love the domed ceiling in the waiting area. It's the best ceiling I've seen in any themepark. Those spots or build in light features take so much away from the theming. But this one is just awesome!

  6. I agree with all of you on the use of the flash (We NEVER use it in any other indoor ride). Unfortunately without the flash we would not have been able to bring you photos of the ride itself, as our "clamobile" moved too fast, and all the photos would have been terribly blurry. As we stated on the post, flash photography is allowed during dress rehearsals.

  7. Jeez guys! Get over yourselves! A perfectly acceptable explanation and situation have been explained and you still whine!

People with nothing better to excite themselves in life!

Thanks for the update anyway. Can't wait to experience this at Christmas.

  9. If you want a ride video with natural lighting, you can get that in tons of places... I, for one, welcome the only opportunity we may ever get to see the ride with the "lights" on.
