Amazing Details Around Beast's Castle, Belle's Village
The New Fantasyland area is not yet officially open to the general public, but the Disney Parks Blog continues to share with us some quite amazing photos of all the incredible details that Walt Disney Imagineers have included in all the great buildings and light fixtures around the area. Take a look at some of them:

A truly beautiful mosaic adorns the interior hall of the Castle:
In addition to that, the Blog just released also a photo of the great statue of Gaston located in the very center of Belle's Village, which includes Gaston's Tavern, "Bonjour!" Gifts, themed restrooms, and more:
The countdown to the start of the previews for the Fantasyland Forest continues!

In the mosaic, the prince looks like he is wearing no trousers. It looks awful.
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who thinks there's always an anonymous leaving foul comments on every Disney related post?
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures BTW.
This was not meant as a foul comment. I love Disney and care about the parks very much. The mosaic is clearly wrong. In the movie the Prince wore white trousers and blue boots. I share the same reaction as four of my friends. I only hope Disney can rectify this.
ReplyDeleteI think what Anonymous is trying to say is that the mosaic looks odd particularly due to the fact that it looks like the same flesh-tone tiles were used for his pants that were used for the faces and arms. (Which it technically IS quite similar in color)
ReplyDeleteCan not wait to see this in person, shame it wont be for another year! Beauty and the Beast has always been my fave Disney movie.
ReplyDeleteReally nice details. There's even some moss on the rockwork.
ReplyDeleteThey really need to fix the mosaic, it almost looks like the prince has a little boner.
ReplyDeleteThat mosaic is taken straight from the movie, colors and all.
ReplyDeleteWatch the end of the movie. The prince wears white trousers and dark boots in the mosaic at the very end.

ReplyDeleteThats exaclty what I was thinking.
Also the entrance is a bit overdone with all the statues. Less is sometimes more, it cheapens it down how it is now. But the food is going to be the best so I'm sure I will go there and have a bite.
Don't you consider all the witchcraft in Beauty & the Beast dark magic? If so, why are you featuring it so much?
