Downtown Disney Update: Slow Progress (PART 1)
Downtown Disney has been receiving a few minor additions in the past few months, but many of the on-going projects seem to have been either delayed or have stalled (with very slow progress). We will now take a look at all of the three areas of this entertainment district, starting from the West Side:
A quiet afternoon:
As announced, there are no Cirque du Soleil shows this week:
The old and tired Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Theme Park:
Work on Splitsville continue:
New pattern on the walls?:
The new Phineas & Ferb "attraction" appears to be wildly... unpopular:
This is the best Disney can offer at Downtown Disney? We don't think so:
Downtown Disney in general is very beautiful-looking, though (with the exception of Pleasure Island):
Characters in Flight is still closed:
Nope, no balloon in view:
Planet Hollywood:
We're now entering the place "where Dreams are forgotten":
No more adventure here:
Paradiso 37:
That's definitely a big camera:
Pleasure Island's grassy field:
This place feels so... incomplete:
Nothing happening here either...
This looks like a new sign to us:
Hey! I love DisneyQuest!
ReplyDeleteI also Love Disney Quest... it's like the paradise for me!!!
ReplyDeleteAh poor Disney Quest, myself and the hubbie had totally avoided it on past trips due to bad reports ... but had inclusive tickets last year and popped in for a nosey and "LOVED IT" great way to pass an evening after a nice meal (and a few vinos!) in trex or planet hollywood!!! Cannot wait to go in November!
ReplyDeleteDisney Quest just needs a little updating. My friends go all the time and LOVE it! I personally think the "arcade" level should be updated with a FLYNN's/TRON theme.
