We’re highlighting one great movie per day that’s currently playing on Disney Family Movies. Today we’re spotlighting one of Disney-Pixar’s most enchanting short films, For the Birds.

Everyone loves a Disney-Pixar movie (in the theatres now is Finding Nemo 3-D, and keep one eye out for Monsters Inc. 3-D) but guess what can be just as much of a treat? A Disney-Pixar short! From the original Tiny Toy shorts with Luxo Jr. (Pixar’s logo lamp) to the Academy Award-winning Geri’s Game to the recently nominated La Luna to the current Partysaurus Rex (screening in theaters with Nemo 3-D), Disney-Pixar shorts are tasty morsels of fun for the whole family! And this month Disney Family Movies has one of the best, the Academy Award-winning For the Birds, in which a group of snooty birds have to contend with a bird who reminds us of Dippity Dawg— that is, he’s just plain goofy! So check out the original angry birds in the delightful Disney-Pixar short For the Birds.
