Pirates of the Caribbean Ride Closed on October 9

The Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the Magic Kingdom park will close for only one single day this fall. Indeed, according to the official Walt Disney World Calendar, the ride will be closed for Refurbishment on Tuesday, October 09, 2012. It is rumored that this day will allow some extra time to finish installing (and testing) the new interactive feature that should soon be available to guests waiting in the queue of the attraction. Also according to some reliable rumors, it looks like multiple interactive elements will be installed around the rest of Adventureland, even though this should not affect any other attraction.

In addition to that, the Country Bear Jamboree attraction will also be closed for refurbishment between Wednesday, August 22 and Tuesday, October 16, 2012. The attraction will be refreshed and will reopen on October 17, 2012. Additional information on this unrelated project should be released soon.
