Fun Spot Reveals More Info Regarding New Coaster

Fun Spot America has just released two new videos of their brand-new wooden roller coaster called "White Lightning." The first is an exciting on-ride video that already shows us how great the coaster will be. Here it is:

The second is an off-ride video:

Here's also the latest rendering of how Fun Spot America will look once the expansion will be complete:

This is the older version of the layout. Have fun looking at the differences between the two artworks!:

Well, this certainly looks better and better! Each time we see a new version of the expansion plans we are even more excited! Fun Spot is definitely going above and beyond with these exciting projects.

  1. So the bottom is the older rendering? It seems to have a lot more rides than the new rendering, also the ferris wheel has been taken off the top of the building and now is not nearly as tall. Hopefully some of the wow factor of the older rending will be added to the new one.

  2. Hi Kenneth, Thanks for your interest. Just to clarify a few things. We still have plans to put a Ferris wheel on top of the new entry building. But instead of moving our existing wheel, we've engineered the building to accept a brand new wheel. That will come in the future. We have also added an 8,000 sq. ft. restaurant facility which is under the SkyCoaster launch platform, along with more covered outdoor seating up top. This major addition will be a really great place to cool off and get something to eat or drink while you are at the park. The GCI coaster is now taller and longer than our original design. The new lift hill is 75 feet tall and the track is 2,000 feet long. The number of other rides is essentially the same as the first design, just arranged a bit differently. All the design changes we've made are actually upgrades with the goal of making Fun Spot America a fun and exciting experience.

    Thanks a lot,

  3. Thankyou once again to Mr Tuten for sharing this latest information, and taking time out to answer queries.

I must say the white lightning videos look VERY interesting. although you cannot get the true "feel" of a coaster from CGI, it appears to offer a serious amount of airtime. And the 90 degree bank looks seriously interesting.

I just pray Fun Spot America can manage to stick to their impressively ambitious time schedule and that this coaster is open and waiting for me when I visit!

  4. Looks like the WindSeeker clone is gone...

What I really want to see is the Fun Spot USA expansion plans!

  5. Good the Windseeker is becoming so overdone everywhere. Maybe they can save the money and do something better, but hey I think the same about the SkyCoaster. They are all over in abundance too.

Looks like the other coaster grey too, overall the hole thing looks very nice!

  6. grew not grey, sorry.

  7. I was going to comment about how it lacks airtime to be a "solid" coaster..

And then the second half blew me away. and this is coming from someone who has a season pass to a park that just installed a Giga Coaster... ;)
