Brave - The Highland Games Tournament Now Open at Epcot
Now through July 8, young Guests will be immersed in the story, characters and Scottish culture featured in this summer’s Disney•Pixar animated film “Brave,” which opens in select theaters June 22, 2012.
Taking its lead from the movie filled with grand adventure, heart, memorable characters and signature Pixar humor, the fun, new interactive area at Epcot offers a kids playground recommended for ages 2-12. It features tournament games for kids of all ages, including a Mini Caber Toss, Cake Toss, Haggis Flip and archery; a chance to spin the “Clan Wheel” and rub a Rune Stone with their assigned clan’s medallion; and a special giveaway set of postcards in the arts and crafts area. And, while the younger set is exploring the playground and making their way through all the activities, other members of your party are welcome to relax and enjoy the playground tents with enhanced free wireless.
Brave - The Highland Games Tournament, open daily from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., is located along the Future World West walkway leading to the World Showcase Promenade.

ReplyDeleteCastmembers aren't dressed in killts and the bow and errow thing is just an insult to every kid!
I was an archery theacher in a boyscout camp and from kiddyland to the oldest scouts they loved arcery and where able to shoot with a real bow and arrow. Kids aren't stupid!
It all looks awefull. I think the movie is going to be great but this thing doesn't do anything for it.

ReplyDeleteAs someone who has actually been there, the kids love it! They aren't going to give kids a real bow and arrow in the middle of Epcot! Neither my daughter or the other kids there cared a bit that there wasn't a sharp point at the end of the arrows. They were just having fun!
