Fantasyland Update: New Pathway Work (PART 2)

Welcome to part 2 of this new Fantasyland photo-report (PART 1 can be found here).

Since we left with a view of Snow White's Scary Adventures, let's remain in the same theme and take a look at the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride, which is taking shape too:

From another angle:

The Little Mermaid's Castle is looking great, as usual:

The rock-work is gorgeous:

Can you spot a stranded ship in these next three photos?:

Yes, it's right there:

Work on the new Winnie the Pooh meet-and-greet continues:

Let's now move on to Storybook Circus:

New lights are now visible on the right side of Double Dumbo:

Lights were on inside the mysterious Dumbo queue (which will be Next-Gen):

The new Dumbo marquee was installed just yesterday, but we visited the park two days ago, therefore the installation had not yet taken place. You can see a photo of this great marquee HERE (it's fantastic!):

I am glad we got this new version of Dumbo:

Trees have been added to the Casey Jr. area:

This area will open very soon, as the former walls have been replaced with easier-to-remove walls:

Behind the walls:

The blue tent is still incomplete:

The red tent is looking good (but it is still incomplete as well):

The third tent is taking shape as well:

The pathway between Tomorrowland and Storybook Circus still has these temporary walls:

And this concludes this new Fantasyland update. Thank you for reading, and have a great weekend!

  1. Wonderful update! When is the new part of Storybook circus going to open?- my family is going there tomorrow for a week, but I don't think it will be open for them and their two little ones. :( ~NOT TO MENTION TEST TRACK FOR THEIR TWO "BIG" ONES~ ;)

  2. The rockwork on the Little Mermaid is amazing but... Is it just me or does the 'grass' on it look dead and brown? Do you think they'll repaint it or is it supposed to look that way?
