VIDEOS: Casey Jr. Water Features & New Fantasyland
Today we have two interesting Magic Kingdom videos to share with you.
The first video shows some preliminary tests being done in the area where the new Casey Jr. Splash 'n' Soak Station will be built. You will notice that water is squirting from the ground, meaning that some of the water features have a already been installed, while the themed elements may still need to be placed:

This next post from the official Disney Parks Blog shows a great time-lapse video of all the work that has been done until now in the Fantasyland expansion area (the following post, including the video, is subject to the copyright of the Walt Disney World Resort. All rights reserved.):
Time-Lapse Video: New Fantasyland Springs To Life at Magic Kingdom
Who’s up for a fun look at the New Fantasyland expansion?
Walt Disney Imagineering just shared an updated time-lapse video with us that offers a bird’s-eye view of how this area is shaping up. See for yourself!
For reference, the area on the left will be Enchanted Tales With Belle, Beast Castle (which will contain the Be Our Guest Restaurant), and Gaston’s Tavern. The buildings and rockwork on the right side will house the Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction.
As we always say, we certainly can't wait to see the second phase of this fantastic expansion, which will open later this Fall! We will continue to keep you up-to-date.
Thank you! Maybe I'll get my family (or just my mom lol) to sneak down there this summer:)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're able to do a photo update of Test Track even though they just added some walls.
