Disney PhotoPass+ Debuts at Walt Disney World


A new version of the famous Disney PhotoPass Service has just been introduced in the Walt Disney World Resort. Here you are some information about the new additions that have been added:

Disney PhotoPass+ Now Available

Disney's PhotoPass® Service is now offering a new product to Guests at all Walt Disney World® theme parks as well as select Resort and Downtown Disney merchandise locations.
Disney PhotoPass+ is a single way for Guests to acquire all their PhotoPass photos, including those taken at select attraction and character dining locations at the Walt Disney World® Resort.
Disney PhotoPass+ is available for $199.95 at all theme parks and select merchandise locations:
  • Team Mickey at Downtown Disney
  • M. Mouse Mercantile at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
  • Trader Jack's at Disney's Polynesian Resort
  • Zawadi at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • Beach Club Marketplace at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort
Disney PhotoPass+ includes:
  • Disney PhotoPass+ card and lanyard
  • Disney Gallery CD with over 400 stock photos
  • Photo print packages at select dining locations
  • Unique code to create and redeem a PhotoCD online at DisneyPhotoPass.com that includes all high resolution images taken at Walt Disney World® Resort
The following character dining locations will accept Disney PhotoPass+:
  • 1900 Park Fare
  • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
  • Chef Mickey’s
  • Cinderella’s Royal Table
  • Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
  • Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
  • ‘Ohana
  • Tusker House Restaurant
The following attractions will accept Disney PhotoPass+:
  • Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin®
  • DINOSAUR
  • Expedition Everest®
  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith
  • Space Mountain®
  • Splash Mountain®
  • The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™

This is interesting. It is something that guests may appreciate, but the price looks very high, especially thinking about all the money that guests already have to spend around the parks. What do you think?

  1. I agree that this does appear rather expensive.

    However, it will be accepted at a great number of attractions that offer ride photos, which you cannot load onto a normal photopass. if you add individual cost of buying each ride photo, the photopass+ doesn't seem nearly so expensive! (especially if a whole family's ride pics go onto a single photopass+)

    i guess its worth would really depend on whether you want the ride photos or not!
