MK Monorail: Temporary Operating Hours Change

Starting from today, the Magic Kingdom monorail system will completely shut down during the quieter hours of the day, to allow major work that needs to be done in the future Disney Vacation Club building, currently being under construction right next the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa:

Magic Kingdom - Monorail Operating Hours Temporarily Adjusted

To accommodate planned maintenance and nearby construction, we will be temporarily adjusting the operating schedule for the monorail system. Beginning March 2, monorail service on the Magic Kingdom Resort and Express beams will be temporarily suspended during non-peak times, between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. During this time, watercraft (where applicable) and additional buses will be available to transport Guests to their destinations. Weather permitting, we expect this work to be complete before the end of the month. The Epcot Monorail system will not be impacted.
