February 29 is going to be a very special day! While we will not be able to attend the event for the entire 24 hours, we will strive to be at the Magic Kingdom during that special day. By the way, did you know that this is actually not the first time that a Disney Park will remain open for 24 hours or more? In fact, Disneyland Park remained open for a record of 60 hours (from 10 a.m. January 9, 1987, to 10 p.m. January 11, 1987) to celebrate the grand opening of the original Star Tours attraction. It is important to note that One More Disney Day will be the "first-of-its-kind event to take place at two Disney Park locations on the same date."
Also Disneyland was open for 60 hours for the grand opening of Captain Eo on September 12 1986. I remember walking in at 2am seeing the line starting just inside of the entrance tunnels!
