Confirmed: Magic Kingdom Stays Open 24 Hours
Just yesterday, Disney has confirmed that both the Magic Kingdom here in Florida and Disneyland Park in California will remain open form 24 straight hours (6 a.m. - 6 a.m.) between February 29, 2012 and March 1, 2012. Here you are some additional information about this unusual event:

‘One More Disney Day’ - Historic Bi-Coastal Day for Disney Parks
And for 60 days straight – from Jan. 1, 2012 to Feb. 29, 2012 – a daily winner will be chosen in the “Disney Parks One More Disney Day Sweepstakes” to receive a Disney Parks vacation. The press release doesn't really give us all the details (for example if there will be special shows, which rides are going to be open, etc.), but it sure seems like it is going to be a great event. Why, it is even included in the price of a normal one-day ticket! Of course, you have to be very strong to remain awake for 24 hours (OK, maybe you can rest a bit during the day if you are on-site or if you live here)!
If I lived closer, I would DEFINATELY be there! It would be AWESOME to ride The Haunted Mansion late at nite, & it would be nice to be there when the park is quiet!
