Universal Studios: Aquatic Show Coming Soon (Part 2)
Welcome to part 2 of this new Universal Studios update (PART 1 can be found here). Let's continue...
It is now time to check the work that has been done on the former barges for the Universal 360 show:
Oh, wow. Take a look at these new towers:
They're very high:
This only makes me more impatient to know what Universal has in mind:
Let's take a look around:
Many of the pieces of equipment came from Italy and France:
What are these? LED lights?:
See? The chains were made in Italy:
This is certainly a very important piece:
Some workers came to work on the barges later in the afternoon:
They were from Aquatique Show Intl.:
How do we know that for sure? Well, we're just guessing...
Around the lagoon, a lot of wires and interesting things are being installed:
Every red balloon indicates the point where they will install these wires:
This small structure even has an underwater base:
All these lights and speakers will soon be used a lot, if all the rumors we heard are true:
The studios certainly don't need additional speakers in the Central Park area, don't you think?:
A small bird was floating in the lagoon. He surely has a good view of the new wires that have been installed:
Going to Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone:
The Nuthouse coaster has finally got back its sign, and it looks gorgeous. Even the roof seem to have been repainted, as it looks spotless:
The Loading Dock sign also seem to have received a new paint job:
We're not sure about this sign, but it looks good too:
And now, let's take a look at the former site of the old Hard Rock Cafe':
As you can see, a new portable has been placed in the area:
Who knows what's going on back there...

ReplyDeleteI *suspect* that the items you identified as LED's may actually be water valves, that may be employed to create some sort of screen or effect within the show?
ReplyDeleteJust a guess, but valves do look very similar!
Thanks for all your work this year - have a great Christmas!
The LED picture is actually the Aqua Graphic fountain. You can see a video of it working from the official company website.

ReplyDeleteAnother great photo update. Some interesting stuff. Very Good.
ReplyDeleteP.S Have a merry christmas and a happy new year.
Those things in the lake are 'Komet' Nozzles for fountains. The wooden stake in them is to keep the cable out of the water. The cable will be connected to RGB LED Lighting I expect.
ReplyDeleteSo far we have standard fountain nozzles in the lake and Water Graphic tech for the trusses. Very exciting!
The lagoon developments are very exciting.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the new portable and equipment where the old Hard Rock site is will be utilized for a staging/work area for the Amity replacement project? Just food for thought. Would be awesome if it was something new all together, but I guess we shall see.
