SeaWorld Orlando Update - Dine With Shamu News
This evening we have a quick SeaWorld update, which includes some minor news regarding the "Dine With Shamu" area. Let's dive right into this new update (no pun intended):
As usual, let's start with some pictures of Manta - The Flying Ray:
It is a really stunning attraction. And we are not even roller coaster lovers:
SeaWorld has installed a new, huge net to protect guests who walk under the coaster (flying objects falling from a roller coaster can cause a lot of issues...)
This area was previously inaccessible:
Some pink flamingos:
Work on TurtleTrek continues:
Journey to Atlantis:
The small, themed sign of the attraction is gone forever, it seems:
A brief look around the Penguin Encounter area (which will be soon be replaced by the fantastic "Antarctica - Empire of the Penguin area in 2013):
We'll publish a complete tribute of the attraction very soon:
This area will soon look much, much, much better:
And now, here's the highlight of this update: the small path behind the Dine With Shamu building is now open once again (the Dine With Shamu experience is still unavailable at this time, though):
Some walls still remain in some areas:
Let's take a look at some polar bears:
He looked a bit sad:
This projector in one of the themed rooms of Wild Arctic was finally working:
And this concludes this new SeaWorld Orlando update! Remember to check out also our Universal Studios update, as well as our recent CityWalk photo-report! Thank you, and have a good night!
I think the reason they opened the dine with shamu path is to make room for all the guests for new years. I know most parks open sections that usually aren't open to get a larger capacity allowed. All the parks reach max occ on new years eve. (Epcot's max from last year was 97,000 guests)
