LEGOLAND Florida: New Additions Appear (PART 1)
Good afternoon OTPN readers! Today, we have a very big LEGOLAND Florida update to share with you, and even though the park is only barely a month old, there are a lot of minor changes to report! Let's start by taking a look at the new signs that have been placed near the "WELCOME" sign in front of the park's entrance:
These signs were needed, as someone could get hurt by climbing the LEGO structure.
Also, near the ticket booths, the temporary tent has been removed:
In the park, we noticed this great, new sign that sums up all the food and drinks that are sold inside the Market restaurant, which is also the biggest restaurant of the park:
The Island in the Sky:
A new Star Wars background has been added behind the two LEGO models of Darth Vader and R2-D2:
The old garden area is still closed to the public:
It is now reserved for school group lunches:
The Conservatory will not open until 2012 according to Legolandphotos.com:
In the LEGO Kingdoms area of the park, we noticed that a lot of new shields have been installed. For example, compare the entrance of the land.

Also, on the castle itself, the two missing shields have finally been placed:

The new sign for the King's Market:
Another new shield has been installed on the tower of the princess:
We still have not seen a single show on the Castle Stage:
The Forestmen's Hideout has received new themed elements on its main sign (new shields here too!):
More new shields:
A new park map has been installed near the Forestmen's Hideout:
In the queue of the Lost Kingdom Adventure guests are starting to throw coins, to build up the treasure:
Once it will be filled with coins, it will look more like a real treasure room:
Great news: A lot more trees have been planted around the Land of Adventure to better separate the different themed areas:
The bushes are finally starting to hide that horrible metal fence near the Safari Trek:
It makes a world of difference:
On the other side, unfortunately, we still see the bare metal fence:
The Coastersaurus is great. Guests love it, but unfortunately it has VERY LOW capacity! The ride could use two trains instead of only one:
Now, please, head over to PART 2 for many more photos of the park!
C-3PO? That's R2-D2! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the correction, JiffyPop. You can clearly tell that I am not very familiar with the characters of the Star Wars saga!!!
