Epcot: Refurbishments Continue in the Japan Pavilion
The major refurbishment of a big portion of the Japanese pavilion at Epcot continues, so it is time to check out the work that has been done in the past three weeks:
This big wall near the pagoda encloses the koi pond, the gardens, a shop, and a quick-service restaurant:
All of these areas are receiving major refurbishments:
Work is being made to improve the look and safety of the pathways that lead to the Japanese gardens:
The quick-service restaurant at the top of the hill, the "Yakitori House", is going to look brand-new once it reopens later this month:
Work also continue on the small shop in front of the great staircase that leads to the two major restaurants of the pavilionL "Teppan Edo" and "Tokio Dining":
And that is all for this update. Stay tuned for a complete Epcot update, coming soon!
The look and safety of the garden paths? What was ever wrong with them? I understand new concrete and path expansion but I never saw a need to change anything there.
