Downtown Disney General Update - November 2011
Just a week ago we posted new photos of the recently-reopened Sunglass Icon shop at Downtown Disney. Today we'll be taking a look at the entire shopping district, to see all the other new additions.
Let's start with a look at the massive Cirque du Soleil (which is not new, though):
Disney Quest:
Work continues on the future site of Splitsville:
It was a very quiet day:
The recently-opened Harley-Davidson store:
The huge, new fountain installed next to Planet Hollywood (before it was very weak):
Characters in Flight:
Going to Pleasure Island/Hyperion Wharf/Unnamed Project/Nobodyknowswhatitwillbecome:
It is really dead in here. We really look forward to know more about what this area will become:
This view makes many Disney fans sad:
The Adventurer's Club surely had a great theming:
The site that was supposed to become part of Hyperion Wharf is still just an empty space:
Disney is still silent about this project:
Apricot Lane:
Fulton's Crab House:
A lot of plants have appeared near Fulton's:
Another look at the new fountains:
Going to the best part of Downtown Disney - the Marketplace:
The extended path is now open:
It was necessary after the expansion of the LEGO store:
There are now two LEGO dragons at Downtown Disney:
One of them has got two models:
One outside the store...
...and one inside:
The Disneyfied LEGO family:
And this is all! Thank you very much as always for reading, and have a great day!
Sad about Pleasure Island. This is what happens when Disney concentrates only on the family units and doesn't think about the rest of it's customer base!
ReplyDeleteTrue, Tess, but it´s a fact the place wasn´t actualy pact so the adults didn´t come.
ReplyDeleteBut it´s terrible to prommise something new and start ripping the place appart and then stop, leave a horrible spot in the middle of Downtown Disney and leave.
