The Tropicals' Final Performance Delayed Until Nov.
The Tropicals, an entertainment groups at Disney's Animal Kingdom that has gladdened many guests in the past with their music, will soon leave the park, due to the end of a contract they previously stipulated with the Walt Disney World Resort. Thei final performace was originally going to take place on October 29, 2011. A few days ago, though, it was announced that they would stay a bit longer performing at the park, so their last day at Disney's Animal Kingdom will be November 19, 2011:

At the Walt Disney World Resort, we regularly evaluate our offerings and make
appropriate adjustments based on creative and operational needs.
To meet recent creative and operational needs at the park, the Tropicals will
have their final performance at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Saturday, October 29, November 19, 2011.
At this time, the atmosphere entertainment program at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is being evaluated, and replacing the Tropicals with another act is under consideration.

We're glad to see the Tropicals stay a little longer, even though it will be just a few days more than the original date they were supposed to leave. Goodbye, Tropicals!
