LEGOLAND Florida - Minor Additions Coming Soon

We haven't talked about LEGOLAND for a while now, right? So, it is time to check out some of the minor additions that will soon come to the park, starting from the entrance area, also called "The Beginning":

Over many of the machines that scan tickets, there are these flag-like things that should soon receive some numbers or will feature information about the line (if it is reserved to disable people, passholders, etc.):

In the DUPLO Village area of the park, we find DUPLO's Playtown, which is not  included in the current park map, and which lacks the structure that was previously called "The Old Carousel Theater." Indeed, Playtown was supposed to be partially covered, but the structure was too old, so LEGOLAND Florida's officials decided to just get rid of it. Hopefully, they'll build something similar in the near future:

NOW:

Also in the same area, we find the Junior Fire Academy, which still has to open to the public:

In the LEGO Kingdoms area, we noticed that two themed shields were missing from the castle:

Going to LEGO City:

The Big Test theater will soon receive a covering, to protect guests from the sun, but at this point, I guess they will wait until February to put it up (it's not as hot now):

Here you can see that the supports are already on place:

A new covering will also be installed soon on the queue of the Aquazone WaveRacers:

Also here you can see the supports:

The Imagination Zone has this nice giraffe... with an incredibly hideous support. Hopefully, they'll change this:

LEGOLAND Florida's Water Park will open next year, and many of the pieces of some of the slides previously used in the Splash Island Water Park are sitting in an area next to the Cypress Gardens:

Some are already on place:

Hopefully, they'll complete all these small tasks soon.

  1. Although the pictures look very inviting, you should be cautious when visiting this new park. Legoland was exempt from state safety inspections and is allowed to ‘govern itself.’ Read more about it here: http://bit.ly/oBfE6f
