Yacht/Beach & BoardWalk Resort Parking Restrictions

Just an advisory that will be effective starting tomorrow:

Yacht/Beach & BoardWalk Resort Parking Restrictions 
September 29 - November 13, 2011

Due to the high attendance expected for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, the following Guest parking lots will be restricted on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 29-Nov. 13:
  • Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
  • Disney’s BoardWalk Resort
These parking lots will be restricted to only those staying at the resort, attending a convention event at the resort or with dining, recreation or spa reservations.

It is not unusual for them to restrict the parking of these two hotels, due to their proximity to the park.

    I'm confused; aren't those parking lots always restricted to guests-only?

    Hi, Judy!
    Actually all the Disney Hotels (and many other hotels in general) are open for everybody to visit. For example, I personally live here, but I go many times to the Disney resorts just to eat something, or to stroll around the place. Anybody is welcome!
