Walt Disney World: Four Seasons Resort Will Be Done
The very well-known project for an extremely luxurious hotel, a Four Seasons Resort (which can be compared to a Ritz-Carlton hotel), has been up in the air for a very long time. The project has been delayed and delayed numerous times, and many rumors even hinted to a possible cancellation of the project.
Today, the Orlando Sentinel has reported that finally the project has been approved, and that work for the new $360 million hotel will begin as soon as December 2011. You can read additional information on this project (including an impressive artist rendering of the resort) directly on the Orlando Sentinel website.
The resort will have a total of 444 rooms. It will provide a good view of the Magic Kingdom park, and it will feature some very nice water features, like a lazy river and, of course, pools, spas and much more (in a few words, it will have everything you would expect from a luxury hotel). Also, according to the Orlando Sentinel, the resort will have "as many as 40 Four Seasons time-share units and up to 90 Four Seasons private
residences."
When will the hotel open? Well, it was supposed to open this year (2011), but due to the bad economy and other factors, the hotel's grand opening has been delayed until mid-2014.
