The Tropicals To Leave Animal Kingdom in October
Disney's Animal Kingdom will soon have to wave goodbye to one of the park's entertainment group: the Tropicals. The following advisory, which is a bit vague as always, will provide you more information:

At the Walt Disney World Resort, we regularly evaluate our offerings and make appropriate adjustments based on creative and operational needs. At this time, the atmosphere entertainment program at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is being evaluated, and replacing the Tropicals with another act is under consideration.
To meet recent creative and operational needs at the park, the Tropicals will have their final performance at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Our sincerest thanks to the Tropicals for enhancing the Guest experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom since 2005.

We are sad about this. The Tropicals were part of the atmosphere that makes Disney's Animal Kingdom one the nicest-looking theme parks in the world (we're referring to the natural setting and the theming, not about the park itself, which actually lacks a decent number of rides). We hope that Disney will replace them with a new group as soon as possible, as there are already very few things to do in the park.
Remember when the acrobats left China? They actually promised a new act would replace them. That hasn't yet happened either.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty sad that you think that Animal Kingdom has very few things to do. Obviously, you have missed what the park is all about.
