The Seas with Nemo & Friends - PHOTO GALLERY

Today we have a special photo-update, which is not really reporting anything new. It is just like a virtual tour of one of Epcot's most recently renovated ride: The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Let's take a look around together, starting from the exterior of the ride:

The plants look very similar to the ones that are found under the sea:

Occasional waves come from behind the rocks, simulating the waves of the sea crushing on the rocks near the shores:

Nearby, we find three funny seagulls, that ask for something...

"Mine! Mine! Mine, mine!":

On the walls near the entrance, we find colorful fish and other sea creatures from the famous Disney-PIXAR movie "Finding Nemo":

Before we enter the pavilion, we notice a nice photo-opportunity with some of the characters of the movie:

Now the photo-op is a bit more hidden with plants, due to the fact that kids used to hop on the statues, but in these photos, taken some months ago, you can still see the characters very clearly:

Now, let's enter into the building. This here is the entrance to the indoor queue line, also known as "the endless queue":

Numerous signs can be seen throughout the queue:

The first room is themed to a beach:

No lifeguard on duty:

This passage leads us to the bottom of the ocean:

Look up, and you'll see the sun's rays filtering through the water:

We even see a boat docked on top of us:

A look behind:

Now, let's hop on the ride (NOTE: The flash pictures we took did NOT affect anybody's experience, as we were riding alone. Never take flash pictures in a dark ride if there are other guests near you).

The interiors of the ride are really fantastic:

They perfectly recreate Nemo's colorful world:

These screens show Nemo and his friends swimming around the ocean... looking for each other:

Unfortunately, there are very few real Audio-Animatronics:

These jellyfish, for example, do move up and down, but they cannot be considered complex Audio-Animatronics:

The Angler Fish, though, is a very complex Audio-Animatronic, which is moved by a Kuka robotic arm... which is frequently not operating due to technical issues:

Our trip continues, and at a certain point we meet Bruce and the other sharks:

Remember: Fish are friends, not food:

Then, we join Crush into the EAC:



And at the end we meet all the characters, singing together "It's a Big Blue World":
