Preview LEGOLAND Florida's Dark Ride, and More
As you may have read last week, a very limited number of kids had the great opportunity to check out some of LEGOLAND Florida's many attractions, while the park was still closed to the public (and it still is, as of now). This following video will show you the attractions they rode, including the Vekoma family coaster, called "Flight School," the "Driving School," the "Safari Trek," and even LEGOLAND's signature dark ride: the "Lost Kingdom Adventure". Check it out:
Looks like a lot of fun! The Vekoma coaster looks quite intense, keeping in mind that it is located in a LEGOLAND park. It will surely please those "older kids" who like thrill rides. We can't wait to check out this amazing place. Yes, we did check out part of the park on the media day, but it will be an entirely different experience to see the park completed. See you in October 2011!
Wish they had something like Flight School at Universal/Disney/Sea World/Busch Gardens - it would make a nice "introduction" to roller coasters to people who are afraid to go on the big ones. I'm not big into Lego, so I probably won't go to Legoland.
ReplyDeleteDo you know if there is a Loop on the Flight School's track????
ReplyDeleteBigfoots, the "Flight School" coaster doesn't go upside down. The park is geared toward young kids, therefore all its attractions have to be kid-friendly. Having a coaster with a loop would be too extreme for them (but that doesn't include only children... I don't like loops either! :-) )
ReplyDeleteThere are plenty low intense rollercoaster in the Orlando parks
ReplyDeleteSeaWorld Orlando - Shamu Express coaster
Islands of adventure - Pteranodon Flyers
Islands of adventure - Flight of the Hippogriff
Universal Studios Orlando - Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster
Upcoming:
Magic Kingdom - Seven Dwarfs mine coaster
Magic Kingdom - The Great Goofini (former Barnstormer)
