LEGOLAND Florida Pre-Opening Photo Update (September 2011): The Beginning
LEGOLAND Florida is just a month away from its grand opening, and the park looks almost ready t welcome its first guests! Yesterday we had the great opportunity of visiting the park, to see how work was proceeding, and we took a look at three areas: the beginning, Miniland U.S.A., and the Land of Adventure.
Today, we'll check out the Beginning. Before entering the park, though, let's take a look outside the park:
As you can see, new temporary banners advertise LEGOLAND right at the entrance to the park's parking lot:
The huge parking:
It already looks like a great place:
This parking will be flooded with cars very soon:
The entrance to the park is absolutely great:
The entrance plaza of LEGOLAND is just as big as Disney's Animal Kingdom entrance:
Colored LEGO bricks will lead guests to the entrance:
The ticket windows:
The main entrance will soon receive some banners and LEGO creations:
The turnstiles:
The main entrance is fully themed, with great trees, plants... and, of course, LEGO characters!:
There are some prehistoric animals that will greet young guests... with some watery surprises!:
Ever seen a LEGO rainbow?:
The biggest shop of the park is located right at the entrance/exit of the park:
It's "The Big Shop":
Some tourists have already done some shopping:
The Market Restaurant:
Going toward the center of the Beginning:
The Annual Pass Center is now complete:
The Island in the Sky:
Some well-known LEGO characters are hanging there:
Mmm.. What do I smell?:
Oh, yes! It's Granny's Apple Fries!:
A closer look at the sign:
The Minifigure Market:
The Duplo Barn (a play area for young children):
The old gazebo that was here has been completely removed, and it will be replaced by a brand-new building:
And this is all just... the Beginning. See you soon, with pictures of Miniland U.S.A.!
