Test Track Introduces Brand-New Ride Vehicles
Just yesterday, it was reported on another site that Test Track, one of Epcot's signature thrill rides, had just received a brand-new, great-looking vehicle. You can see a couple of pictures of it here and here, courtesy of Mr. Shawn Howard (the Twitter user that broke the news).
It is interesting to see them coming before the long-rumored refurbishment, that should be taking place early next year. Of course, we all know that Disney California Adventure is receiving a different version of Test Track, therefore it isn't hard to believe that the Walt Disney Company may have ordered two sets of cars: one for DCA's Radiator Springs Racers, and one for Epcot's Test Track.
Also, note the prominent General Motors logo placed in front of the car. This can only confirm that Disney's deal with the company is far from being done.
We'll keep you informed on the developments of this interesting news, and stay tuned for more pictures of the new vehicle, as we'll try to visit the park in the next few days.
Ford should be sponsoring this ride. Not GM.
ReplyDeleteThen you could ride around in a Mustang or a F-150 :p
Honda should sponser the ride- so it doesn't break down all the time!
ReplyDeleteI just got back from Test Track and the new ride vehicle was no longer there.. apparently it was a just a "test" for the rumored ride update in January.
